The iMoving Future Movers Scholarship Program is designed to support students passionate about logistics, supply chain management, and the moving industry.
iMoving is a simple and secure moving marketplace that does more than just heavy lifting. From storage units to moving labor, from courier services to moving boxes, we put it all at your fingertips—and we put it all online. Our mission is to make relocations easier, with no phone calls or house calls required—just enter your details and book.
Through this scholarship, we hope to empower future leaders who will shape the moving industry’s future with innovative, digital solutions that simplify moving for everyone.
Scholarship Award
$1,000 scholarship awarded to two students each academic year.
Eligibility Requirements
To qualify for the iMoving Future Movers Scholarship Program, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Citizenship:Must be a U.S. Citizen or permanent resident.
- Enrollment Status:Applicants must be enrolled (or planning to enroll) as a full-time student at an accredited U.S. college or university, pursuing an undergraduate degree in logistics, supply chain management, business, or a related field.
- Entry Limit:Limit of one (1) application per individual.
- Exclusions:Employees, affiliates, agents of iMoving, and their immediate family members are not eligible.

IRS Compliance:The scholarship must comply with IRS rules to remain tax-free:
- Funds cannot exceed educational expenses.
- Funds are not earmarked for non-qualified expenses (e.g., room and board).
- The scholarship is not conditional upon teaching, research, or other services required to receive the award.

Candidate for a Degree:Applicants must qualify as a Candidate for a Degree by meeting one of the following:
- Enrolled in a program that counts toward a bachelor's or higher degree, or
- Attending a recognized institution that prepares students for gainful employment in a recognized occupation.

Educational Institution Eligibility:The institution must:
- Focus primarily on formal instruction.
- Maintain a regular faculty and curriculum.
- Have a regularly enrolled student body attending classes on-campus.

Qualified Educational Expenses:Scholarship funds may be used for:
- Tuition and fees required for enrollment.
- Course-related expenses, such as books, supplies, and equipment required for the program.

Non-Qualified Expenses:Scholarship funds cannot be used for:
- Room and board, travel, personal research, clerical assistance, or optional equipment not required for the program.

Essay Submission (500-700 words):Choose one of the following topics:
- The Future of the Moving Industry: Describe upcoming trends or technologies in moving services.
- Personal Relocation Challenges: Share a story of a challenging move and how you overcame it.
- Eco-Friendly Moving Innovations: Propose an environmentally friendly solution for the moving industry.
- Resume:Provide an overview of educational background, achievements, and any relevant experience in logistics or moving.
- Academic Transcript:Submit the latest academic transcript.
- Letter of Recommendation:Include a letter from a teacher, professor, or employer attesting to your commitment to the field.
Award Notification
Recipients will be notified via email and featured on the iMoving website. Additionally, they may be featured in an iMoving blog post to share their insights and aspirations with the iMoving community.

Application Deadlines
- Spring Semester:Applications open January 1 and close May 15.
- Fall Semester:Applications open August 1 and close October 15.
