ETA was to be 0700-0900-crew did not arrive until 1145. Was promised that crew would be LOCAL due to previous horrible experience with crew from such long distance, move located in northwest PA and both crews from Very far distance of New Jersey- upstate New York City(near the Bronx). Had to call dispatch to find out when and where crew was as I waited for crew arrival.

Communication was piss-poor. IMOVING AND ALL IN ONE had me nervous as to whether the pickup would happen. Then I finally got a window between 8am to 10am on the day promised. Moving day: A NO SHOW. Finally I called at 11am and was told the truck broke down. No solution. They knew my date was critical. The retirement community where I was moving amazingly found a mover in NEW JERSEY who was at my house by 2pm. It cost me more and imoving would not cover or share the difference. They all just buried their heads and feigned concern. AWFUL CO.

Did not make the pick up window or the drop off window. The lady that answers the phone is rude and not helpful. The owner appears to not care. They delivered my stuff at 6:45PM on a Tuesday evening. Truck they came in had a piece of white paper duct taped to the back the the license number drawn on on an 18-wheeler. Driver refused to attempt to drive to where the apartment was despite confirming with rental property manager that they’ve had 18-wheelers back there before. Instead parked 300’ away and charged $75 dollars per 50’ they had to walk that had to be paid right then and there. ATMs only let you take $400 out!! As my stuff was being brought it in was all filthy. I paid extra to have my mattress protected and it was disgusting. My wooden bedroom set has chips all over it. They broke a foot on my peloton. Brand new industrial costco storage totes were cracked. Boxes listed as fragile with my plates was laying on the side when it was pulled out. One of the movers asked to use my restroom quick after they finished. He was in there for 10 minutes and when he came out he did not have a shirt on. I went into the bathroom and it was soaked. The hand towel was dripping wet and the counter and everything on the counter was dripping wet. Literally worst moving company ever! I still have never received a call from the actual owner, what a joke.

some what confusing with setting up move. Provider changed. New one stated they did not have referral. Sandy was very helpful then seemed to be off the case. Missed the original requested date. Some additional cost added when furniture taken apart due to counting each part and delivered due to number of feet from elevator. Well packed. All parts arrived and assimilated. Called when delivery times were changed, frustrating but very helpful. Arrived only thirty minutes late from last stated. May still recommend, once things got on schedule things were not seriously bad. Happy it is over.

Pennsylvania Moving Services Are a Click Away
Every move is different. Whether it’s a home, office, or just a few items of heavy furniture, iMoving provides a whole menu of must-have services for moving in and out of Pennsylvania:
Long Distance Moving
We put the best long distance movers in Pennsylvania all in one place. With iMoving, there's no need to make a million phone calls to collect quotes. Just tell us where you're going and what you're taking with you, and we'll connect you with the right team for the job.
With all those moving companies in v, finding a carrier you can trust can be a challenge. That's why we carefully vet and verify every long distance moving company before we let them join our network - and we keep tabs on 'em to make sure they're still providing high-quality moves.
Local Moving
Local moving companies handle anything under 100 miles and within the same state. There are plenty of choices, but iMoving can help you find the best local movers in Pennsylvania.
It's a quick and simple process. All you have to do is tell us what you're carrying and where you're going, and we'll run the numbers to find you custom quotes from the best moving companies in Pennsylvania. No need to deal with pushy sales agents or intrusive in-home estimates.
Packing Services
Here's how DIY packing usually goes: You buy boxes and run out of tape. You buy packing supplies, and run out of packing peanuts. You buy tape, and you run out of boxes. See where we're going with this?
Instead of dealing with your own packing, you can use iMoving to book professional packing services in Pennsylvania. Our teams will show up with all the supplies you need to keep your items safe, and they'll wrap it all up so you don't have to. It's a VIP experience, and we'll give you plenty of quotes so you can get that VIP experience for less money than you'd expect.
Storage Services
Storage isn't just necessary for all your extra stuff. It's also a great way to buy yourself some more time while you're getting situated at your new place. But, when you book secure storage in Pennsylvania, you need to know your items are safe and sound in a facility that's got on-site staff. That's where iMoving comes in.
We've vetted our storage providers just like we've vetted our moving companies. And we've made it super easy to book the unit you need, when you need it. It just takes a few clicks, and you've got all the extra square space you need.
Commercial Moving
We're business owners, too. We know that downtime is wasted time, and we know that distractions can negatively impact your staff - and yourself. Keep your eye on your day-to-day, and book the best commercial movers in Pennsylvania with iMoving.
Our corporate movers are handpicked to provide personalized care that matches whatever kind of shop you're running. Tons of inventory? They've got it covered. Fragile IT equipment? They'll handle it, too. Tell us more about your business, and we'll make sure you get the care you deserve.
FAQ
In the moving industry, there are three types of estimates: binding, non-binding, and non-binding, not-too-exceed. When you get a binding estimate, it means you’re getting a flat rate.
The amount on your quote is the amount you’ll pay. Binding estimates are a good sign you’re dealing with a reputable mover.
Non-binding estimates can be adjusted before, during and after a move, but non-binding, not-to-exceed estimates can only be adjusted downwards from your initial price.
All movers are legally required to offer a minimum level of insurance coverage. Unfortunately, this amounts to about $0.60 per pound of items lost, damaged, or destroyed.
Did your 4 pound Macbook get broken in transit? You're only gonna get $2.40. Fortunately, iMoving can connect you with movers who offer full value protection. This means if something gets damaged or broken, you'll be reimbursed the actual price.
A Pennsylvania move can cost you anywhere from $245 to $8500 and beyond. It all comes down to how much you’re moving, and how far you’re traveling.
Keep in mind, local moving companies charge per mover, per hour (with about 2 movers per room), and long distance moving companies charge by weight (or volume) and miles.
We always recommend booking your movers at least 2 or 3 months in advance. It may seem like a huge window, but it'll give you plenty of time to plan and prepare.
Plus, if you provide a flexible enough moving window, you may end up getting some sweet discounts.
To prepare for a move in Pennsylvania, we recommend taking a few important steps. First, make sure you've got a job lined up at your destination. Secondly, downsize as much as possible before shopping for movers.
If you're doing your own packing, box up your stuff starting with the least-used items, and always pack an essentials bag so you aren't stuck rooting through boxes for your toothbrush or clean underwear.
