We had agreed on a 10:00 arrival time. At 10:10 my husband called to see what the ETA status was. The supervisor said he had lost his crew and was securing a new truck and crew off of Colfax. He would be there in a half hour. At 40 minutes he called the supervisor and was told he had the truck, his GPS said 10 minutes, so give him 12. At 25 minutes we called again to learn they were near. Rather frustrating- particularly the lack of initial communications. (Staffing issues are understandable.). Their approach to the work was slow and steady. Not sure how they were going to do this job in 2 hours. It took them almost 4, and fortunately we were able to adjust other parts of the move. We had help on our end only for a certain amount of time, so this schedule burdened our end of work help. I know the COVID time is difficult for hiring and retaining (and finding a short distance mover-this was our second one assigned when other fell through from imoving.com. The crew was friendly and very helpful when they finally arrived.

These guys worked really hard and the move went smoothly. The only thing was that they were 2 hours late in picking up and dropping off my things. I had to stay on top of them to get where they were supposed to go. Overall, they did a good job.

They threw boxes in a corner and they broke. They made a comment to my wife that made her very uncomfortable.

My moving items were a mixture of personal things in 1room; my mover, Zackery made me feel relaxed once I saw how experienced he was and put thought into what had to be accomplished; he continued his professional knowledge right up to when the job was completed, and I enjoyed his kindness and humor as he “ went about his work moving an old lady out and moving me in to my new apartment”…I’m glad I met Zackery that day of “ moving out”. West Jordan Moving Services Are a Click Away
Every move is different. Whether it’s a home, office, or just a few items of heavy furniture, iMoving provides a whole menu of must-have services for moving in and out of West Jordan:
Long Distance Moving
There are a lot of long distance moving companies in West Jordan. How do you know which one to pick? And how do you know who you can trust?
At iMoving, we've done the research for you. Before a mover joins our network, we check their safety records, their customer feedback, and their service history to make sure they're up to par. And once they join our marketplace, we check in on them to keep them on top of their game.
Local Moving
Local moving companies in West Jordan usually charge per hour, per mover - and it takes about two movers per bedroom. If you're trying to score a great deal on a cross town move (without dealing with a bunch of sketchy moving companies), iMoving is here to make your life easier.
We've got a whole marketplace of over 1000 moving companies, and we make sure each one's good enough for the job by reviewing their services and their customer feedback. We also make it easy to book: Just tell us what you're hauling, and we'll provide custom quotes.
Packing Services
Did you know that you can actually hire professional packing in West Jordan so you don't need to deal with all the boxes yourself? It's not just a convenient way to get your stuff ready for a move; it's also a great way to bundle your moving services with a company you can trust.
How do you find that packing company? With iMoving. We've got a whole network of professional movers, and that includes packing companies that'll come prepared with all the boxes and padding supplies you'll need to keep your stuff safe and secure.
Storage Services
Too much stuff? Not enough space? We get it. That's why iMoving offers the best storage in West Jordan, and that's why we made it easier than ever to lock down your extra square footage.
The storage providers in our network offer secure, on-site storage for all your extra belongings. And just like the movers in our network, we make sure they meet our standards. Clean facilities, surveillance, and even door-to-door delivery.
Commercial Moving
You're running a business. You've got clients and customers to keep happy - not to mention an entire team of employees who need to stay focused on the task at hand. A corporate move can throw all that out the window, unless you book the best commercial movers in West Jordan through iMoving.
We know every business is different. That's why we let you pick and choose the exact services you need for the exact type of company you're running. From server racks to appliances and inventory, we'll connect you with a team that'll keep it safe, and make sure youre move goes quickly and efficiently.

FAQ
In the moving industry, there are three types of estimates: binding, non-binding, and non-binding, not-too-exceed. When you get a binding estimate, it means you’re getting a flat rate. The amount on your quote is the amount you’ll pay.
Binding estimates are a good sign you’re dealing with a reputable mover. Non-binding estimates can be adjusted before, during and after a move, but non-binding, not-to-exceed estimates can only be adjusted downwards from your initial price.
All movers are legally required to offer a minimum level of insurance coverage. Unfortunately, this amounts to about $0.60 per pound of items lost, damaged, or destroyed.
Did your 4 pound Macbook get broken in transit? You're only gonna get $2.40. Fortunately, iMoving can connect you with movers who offer full value protection. This means if something gets damaged or broken, you'll be reimbursed the actual price.
A West Jordan move can cost you anywhere from $290 to $8800 and beyond. It all comes down to how much you’re moving, and how far you’re traveling.
Keep in mind, local movers charge per mover, per hour (with about 2 movers per room), and long distance movers charge by weight (or volume) and miles.
When you move to a more built-up or urban area, chances are they won't let you park an entire semi truck in front of your apartment.
Your movers will have to park the main truck at a staging area, and use a smaller box truck or van to transport your stuff to (and from) the trailer. This is called a moving shuttle, and the inconvenience comes at a price. Blame your city council.
Movers need to have an official Department of Transportation (DOT) number, which you should be able to find on their website.
If a moving company handles long distance moves that cross state lines, they'll also need a Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) number.
Don't forget to check reviews and look for any insurance info they may feature on their website.
