Rockledge Movers
At iMoving, we understand how much of an undertaking it can be to try and sort out all of the details around moving day. You need to schedule local movers, work out how you’re going to pack, and make sure that you have all your ducks in a row with both your current home and your new home.
That’s why we started iMoving – we wanted to be a moving facilitation company that made the process simpler and less stressful for everyone who needs to relocate. So, we developed our country, built a website that makes finding local and long distance movers easier, and worked hard to ensure that every single moving company we work with is worth your money!
We background check and explore every single local moving company that we add to our website. These companies are trustworthy, have high customer ratings, and are really good at what they do. Because of that, any mover you get a quote from via our website is going to be trustworthy and you’re going to get the best rates! Put in your moving info and we’ll help you estimate moving costs quickly.
iMoving also facilitates moves – that is, we oversee the entire process in order to hold long distance moving companies accountable and to ensure that you are satisfied with absolutely every part of the moving process. We also take care of the logistics and whatnot as well. In short, we do the hard work so that you’ve got time to take care of the most important parts of your move.
Moving Services in Rockledge, Florida
- Local or Long Distance Moving Services – Whether you’re hiring a local mover for a day or long distance moving companies for a week, you want to be sure that you’re getting the right services. Many companies are really clear about how far they’ll move people, so you can sort out who you want to connect with. Typically, a local moving company will take care of moves of <100 miles; long distance and cross-country movers will do 100+ miles.
- Business or Home Moves. Residential moves are the most common moves that moving companies will take care of, and most moving companies focus on relocating homes. There are a number of companies that also take care of commercial and industrial moves, however, but they are not as common. It’s typically more expensive to take care of business moves, and they need special training and tools, so fewer companies choose to offer these services.
- Other Services. There are all sorts of other moving and packing services that local movers can offer to their customers. These can include renting storage units, selling and renting moving supplies, packing/unpacking, disassembly/reassembly, white glove services, and more. These all cost additional fees and will need to be scheduled when you book your move with your company.
Top Moving Tips for Your Purposes.
-
Get friends and family to help you with moving
If you’re looking to cut down your costs, it can be a good idea to go ahead and get your friends and family in on it. This also kills two birds with one stone if you’re moving further away, because they’re likely to want to spend time with you before you go. So, why not do it while you’re packing and moving stuff?
-
Label and color-code boxes
There is so much going on when moving day arrives and you need to be sure that you know where things are supposed to go. If you label and color code all of your boxes (and honestly, everything if you can pull that off), you’ll find it a lot easier to unload.
-
Be smart about how you’re packing everything
Don’t waste a lot of time and money on the packing process. There are a lot of ways to be smart about packing. For example, instead of buying packing materials like paper and whatnot, use clean clothes to fill in the gaps and to protect fragile items. Stop at different companies in your area to see if they have spare boxes, and ask around to friends who have recently moved. You’ll save a lot of cash.
-
Don’t bother with cooking the first night
You are going to be sweaty, tired, and probably not unpacked. Instead, schedule to have someone bring you food or order out – it’ll make it a lot easier on you and you can relax and rest during your meal instead of making yourself even sweatier.
